Bank CIMB Niaga and MasterCard Worldwide launch World Credit Card
‘a super premium credit card with exclusive regional privileges’
Jakarta – PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (“CIMB Niaga”) and MasterCard Worldwide introduced today the World Credit Card, a super premium credit card for the high-end market segment. A product with super quality features and services, the new card will satisfy the needs of the premium market.
Arwin Rasyid, President Director of CIMB Niaga, said, “Indonesia's super premium credit card still has a great potential. We take advantage of this regional credit card launch to strategically expand our credit card market share in Indonesia.”
He added that the bank has recorded a sound credit card growth. As at 31 December 2009, over 700,000 cards had been issued by CIMB Niaga.

World Credit Card Features and Facilities
What makes the Card different from other products of its type is the Regional “Golf” Privileges which give CIMB Niaga World Credit Card holders an “unlimited” opportunity to enjoy free tee off at exclusive golf clubs in Indonesia (8), Malaysia (11), Singapore (1) and Thailand (soon).
On top of that, the Card provides emergency Medical Assistance services that include Global Medical Advice, Medical Evacuation, Repatriation & Mortal Remain Service; as well as CIMB Niaga Private Concierge Services – Travel Advice, Hotel Accommodation Arrangement and Business Service Assistance as well as Airport Handling at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
